Do you find yourself struggling to pick up the pieces of a broken life? Today, hear of one woman’s harrowing journey along a broken road and how she found forgiveness and healing following abduction and sexual assault. It’s a message of hope!
Debbie Morris brings a powerful testimony of forgiveness and faith - a theme with universal appeal. In 1980, while a teenager, Debbie survived a brutal experience at the hands of the men featured in the movie “Dead Man Walking.” She will share her journey of healing from the physical, emotional, and spiritual scars.
Debbie speaks at conferences and retreats across the country and is author of “Forgiving the Dead Man Walking.” Chonda Pierce says, “Debbie has allowed us to walk with her on an incredible journey to forgiveness. Her honesty reveals the eroding effects of a life without forgiveness. I breathed with joy when she breathed with joy. What we see, what we hear, what we learn, is life-changing.”
Debbie has appeared on the cover of Ladies Home Journal, Today’s Christian Woman, and Home Life Magazine and has been featured in many other national publications. She has been a guest speaker at Women of Faith conferences and has appeared with Dr. James Dobson's radio broadcasts. In addition, Debbie has been interviewed on The 700 Club, The Today Show, Nightline, and the Fox News Channel.
"A remarkable, wrenching story of grace and forgiveness." Philip Yancey
Chuck Colson of Prison Fellowship Ministries has called Debbie Morris “one of the most dynamic people I have ever met. She brings a unique and powerful message of hope that will touch your life.”
