As we reflect upon what Jesus did for us over 2000 years ago, the Apostle Paul tells us that Jesus "made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death — even death on a cross!" (Philippians 2:7-8, NIV). The knowledge that Christ poured himself out on our behalf — and that through His life, death and resurrection we are empowered to reach out to others in His Name — is a truth that is almost too wonderful to comprehend.
Jesus came to us on a mission to rescue His children and give us new life. This Easter we celebrate the outcome of that mission: Through Jesus Christ we are called children of God and share in the gift of new life.
On behalf of Dr. James Dobson and Family Talk, we want to wish everyone a blessed Easter Celebration.
He has risen!
