ROBERT F. DEES, Major General (Retired), U.S. Army, is a graduate of the US Military Academy, Naval Postgraduate School, US Army Command and General Staff College, Industrial College of the Armed Forces, and the Royal College of Defence Studies. General Dees served in a wide variety of command and staff positions, including Commander of the Second Infantry Division in Korea, Commander of the US-Israeli Combined Task Force for Missile Defense, Deputy Commander of V Corps in Europe, Assistant Division Commander for Operations of the 101st Airborne Division, and Joint Staff J7, Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. During his military career, he and Mrs. Dees also served as a uniformed ambassador for Christ with the USA Officer’s Christian Fellowship (OCF), the Association of Christian Conferences and Teaching Services (ACCTS), and numerous other missionary organizations.
He was recipient of the 2003 Centurion Award from the National Association of Evangelicals for long-term support to chaplains while in command positions. He retired in 2003 and is now President of RFD, LLC; serving a variety of constituents in the arenas of business, defense, counterterrorism, and care for military troops and families. He also serves as Liberty University's Associate Vice President for Military Outreach and Military Director for the American Association of Christian Counselors. Bob and Kathleen have been blessed with two married children and five grandchildren, and currently live in Williamsburg, VA.
