Dr. Narramore is the author of more than 100 books and booklets, including the best sellers The Psychology of Counseling, The Encyclopedia of Psychological Problems and This Way to Happiness. Holding a doctorate from Columbia University, he was the founding president of the Narramore Christian Foundation, an international organization specializing in counseling and the training of Christian leaders. He is also the co-founder and first president of the Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology He and his wife, Ruth, have been heard on the Christian radio program, Psychology for Living for more than thirty years.
Dr. Narramore has spoken at The White House under three Presidential administrations, and at the Pentagon, The State Department, the CIA and has served with John Ashcroft on the Attorney General's Task Force on Family Violence under the Reagan Administration.
In 1988, the International Congress on Christian Counseling presented Dr. Narramore with the Pioneer Award for distinguished service. His book, The Psychology of Counseling was honored in Petersens' 100 Christian Books That Changed the Century.
