Hello Dr Dobson and Crew, I wanted to take some time to thank you personally for your radio program and what an impact it has had on my life. We have lived in Colorado Springs for about 10+ years, but my family just moved up to Woodland Park, CO. We don't get the best reception up here but i still make it a priority to listen every morning even through the fuzz!!=) On a side note, for a good laugh, my father who works at ACSI has many times been stopped at the airport and asked it he were YOU. We all laugh at how people all over think my dad is the wonderful renown Dr. Dobson.=) Your daily radio program has blessed my heart so much over the years and brought me through some tough times. Last year was especially hard for me and listening to your program was a life saver to me. September of 2010 my son Caleb Andrew graced us with his presence 3 months early. This was a shock for me having my 1st daughter full-term. Despite the odds, my son lived. What a trial this last year has been. He is now a little over a year and thriving. God brought me to my knees many times in prayer for the spiritual battle of his life. When still at the NICU he was given a diagnosis of NEC a stomach infection, we were told he may not make it through the next day. I came home that day and cried out to God. HE said, "WORSHIP ME." Being a singer i said, "Lord, i can do that." My 2.5 yr old daughter and i worshiped through tears for an hour. Then we got up and the Lord told me it was done.I knew in my heart he was healed. We went to the hospital that night and asked to see the xrays and laid hands to pray on them. I told the Doctor my son would live. What a miracle to hear the next morning that the x-ray showed no spreaded infection! Caleb has been my little fighter and a example of the healing power of God! When my father came to visit, the nurses even asked me about YOU coming in. They thought Dr Dobson came to visit my son and i said with a laugh that it was my father not you. They wanted his autograph. =) So, thank you for your ministry to a mother of two children who has been on "lock-down mode" to my home all winter again to avoid germs and infection. It is not easy but God gives me strength and joy in it. Without this program i would have missed out on many wonderful parenting tips, encouraging words and stories that have touched and ministered to my heart and met me where I am. Also, the program with your wife speaking about your book this week touched my heart. I really needed to be reminded that my life matters as a stay home mom and that God can have something special for me to do when my children are grown. But until then, they are my priority, my joy, my ministry and I will remember that even when the days get long. What a timely word for me. Thank you again for your ministry!! I remember listening to you as a child and thank God for the work He's done through you. Please thank your wife for me!
