From humble beginnings in a small town in Indiana, to a Christian commune, to the music industry in Nashville, Darlene has always marched to the beat of her own drum. While she has a massive success story in the music and business world, Darlene has always been more concerned about her most important and fulfilling job of being a mother. Raising two daughters proved to be a welcome challenge for the woman who only wanted sons. She strived to instill grit and grace in her girls to help them reach their full potential and find their purpose and she continues to do that for women all over today. She is a wonderful, Godly woman and she is here to share her story, her successes and failures, and the lessons learned along the way in her journey of motherhood. While raising her two daughters, Darlene found time to produce award-winning music videos, manage recording artists, promote concerts throughout the US, and serve as the Chief Operating Officer of ForeFront Records. In Early 2011, Darlene, with husband Dan, co-founded The Grit and Grace Project. The purpose of this organization is to assist women in reaching their full potential and find purpose as individuals, wives and mothers.
