An Urgent Request: Help Us Stop Biden's Latest Effort to Promote Abortion and His Radical Transgender Agenda

Written by Gary Bauer | September 30, 2022
The Biden administration is once again planning to use the power of the federal government to promote abortion and radical gender ideology while violating the conscience rights of healthcare providers. Specifically, if new rules proposed by Biden's Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) are adopted, Christians in the medical profession would be forced to provide abortions and perform radical "gender transition" surgeries even if they have religious objections. This is beyond outrageous.

In September, a three-judge panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, unanimously ruled against the HHS proposed rules. Nonetheless, the Biden administration is moving forward with the proposed rules while they plan an appeal of the court's decision. We've seen this played out several times already when it comes to abortion and parental rights. The Biden administration doesn't care about the courts' decisions and certainly doesn't value the convictions of parents and grandparents throughout America. They're betting that good people will do nothing. Yet, we, the men and women who love God, life, and our children, must let our voices be heard!

HHS is accepting public comments on the proposed regulations through Monday, October 3. We need as many people as possible to tell HHS to not inject abortion and gender ideology into healthcare and to not violate the right of conscience of healthcare workers. This evil could very well prevail unless we take action.

Here's how to give your feedback:

1. Go to the Regulations.gov page for the "Nondiscrimination in Health and Activities."

2. Then click on the blue box labeled "Comment" and type in your position.

3. It can be as brief as this: "I oppose the new regulations because they violate freedom of conscience and are a blatant attack against the sanctity of life and the welfare of our children."
