More "Pro-Choice" Violence

Written by Gary Bauer | October 21, 2022
So-called "pro-choice" extremists continue to attack pro-life churches in the United States.

One of the most recent took place on October 8th at the Church of the Resurrection in Lansing, Michigan. The attack by three vandals dressed in black was caught on video.

The front doors of the Catholic church were spray painted with two upside-down red crosses, with the words, "Death to Christian nationalism." Other slogans defacing the church included "feminism, not fascism," and "is overturning Roe worth your life."

Dozens of churches and crisis pregnancy centers have been attacked across the United States in the months since the Supreme Court returned the abortion issue to the states. There have been few, if any, arrests of the people responsible. Top federal officials, including President Joe Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland, have been virtually silent in the face of this threat to our constitutionally guaranteed freedom to worship. At the same time, the Justice Department has arrested peaceful pro-life demonstrators outside abortion facilities.

Multiple Republican members of Congress are demanding that the attorney general explain what appears to be a politicization of federal law enforcement.

We continue to urge Christians throughout the country to pray for the safety of churches and other houses of worship in the United States. We are also insisting on congressional hearings and legislative action to ensure equal treatment under the law.
