Popular Television Show Acts as a Mouthpiece for LGBTQ Agenda

Capt. Olivia Benson protects victims of sex crimes on the popular NBC television show, Law & Order: SVU.

But on a recent episode, her actions were anything but noble. Benson (played by Mariska Hargitay) applauded the actions of her on-screen son, Noah, who "came out" as bisexual.

The Christian Post has more:

Adam Holz, the director of Plugged In, Focus on The Family's entertainment review site, said the narrative on the mainstream drama show was "not surprising."

"The storyline regarding an 8-year-old boy coming out as bisexual is disappointing, but not surprising," he told CP. "In the last several years, we've seen many examples of children embracing an LGBT perspective, both on kids shows ('Arthur,' 'Owl House,' 'Blues Clues,' 'Doc McStuffins,' among many others) and on shows and movies aimed at an older audience."

Holz argued that advocacy of this kind reflects a worldview in which "personal and sexual sovereignty are embraced as the highest values, where boundaries between childhood and adulthood are obliterated, and where any limits on sexual identity, gender and behavior are rejected."

NBC and other media giants are promoting a new sexual orthodoxy to our kids and grandkids. Our job as parents is to monitor what our children are watching, because what they see, they learn.

Society offers one view of human sexuality, and the Bible clearly offers another. Let's work together to teach our children and grandchildren age-appropriate truth about how God created us male and female, and about His design for human sexuality and marriage.
