Public Says Slow Down on Trans

Summit.org, in partnership with McLaughlin and Associates, has released an eye-opening survey on voter attitudes toward the transgender movement. It shows deep skepticism and opposition to transgender ideology.

The study was conducted October 12 through October 17. Among those who expressed an opinion, the study found the following:

• 75 percent of voters believe the transgender movement has gone too far by encouraging underage minors to use drugs and surgery to transition to the opposite sex.

• 69 percent believe the increase in transgenderism among minors is the result of social media and other cultural influences.

• 70 percent believe the medical industry's promotion of gender transition for young children is due to the desire to make more money for the industry.

• 41 percent of those with an opinion were reluctant to share their views with friends, family and co-workers for fear of persecution.

The opposition to transgender ideology is amazing in view of the fact that most major media, the educational establishment, teacher unions, large swaths of the medical community and powerful government officials, including the Biden administration, are aggressively pushing transgenderism as a "civil right."
