Millions of Americans were shocked by the recent news that former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer. Unfortunately, the disease has already metastasized, making treatment more difficult. We extend our prayers to the former president and his family and hope he has a quick recovery.
We also acknowledge that we have significant differences with Mr. Biden. He relentlessly pushed abortion and the LGBTQ agenda and implemented policies that threatened religious liberty.
The announcement of Biden’s serious cancer comes at a time when troubling questions are being raised about his cognitive health during the years of his presidency. Newly published books citing credible sources suggest that people in the White House at the time engaged in a massive cover-up of his impaired mental health. There are suggestions that unknown individuals were actually running our country.
If these serious charges are true, they would make one of the biggest scandals in modern American history. This would be additional evidence of the corrupting of our nation’s institutions. The American people’s trust in our system of government would be further undermined. Christians must always fight against corruption and insist on accountability.
The investigation about these questions should not be dropped simply because the former president is dealing with a major health challenge.
The investigation that must happen and the accountability that must follow have less to do with Joe Biden than with the conspirators who were deceiving the entire country. Those conspirators are still in public life and could likely serve in a future government. This is unacceptable. Deception at this level must be exposed.
Here’s a summary of what we now know. Multiple books written by credible journalists all point to the same thing: Biden’s physical limitations were obvious for everyone to see. Yet, the extent of his mental limitations were hidden from the public and were far more severe than American citizens were being told.
Biden often did not recognize key staff members. He reportedly called Jake Sullivan—a key confidant and his national security adviser—by the wrong name. Sullivan himself is believed to be one of the co-conspirators in this cover-up of Biden’s decline. Sullivan handled sensitive foreign policy issues involving war and peace. In a complete departure from the historical norm, cabinet meetings were seldom held at the White House. When they were, they were “scripted” so Biden’s limitations were not as evident.
In 2023, as part of an investigation into President Biden’s possession of classified documents, Special Counsel Robert Hur interviewed him. The audio tape was not released until this month because of objections by the Biden administration.
It is now obvious why the Biden White House fought so hard to prevent the recorded interview from being released. The former president was halting and confused. There were long pauses as he tried to gather his thoughts.
During the interview, the president had to ask aides what year he ceased to be vice president. He had to be reminded of the year his beloved son, Beau, died of brain cancer. He couldn’t remember why he had classified materials in his possession. When asked if he held on to them as “keepsakes,” Biden said, “Yes.” That admission would be a violation of the law.
As American citizens, we must not forget how we were intentionally deceived during the Biden years. We were “gaslit” every single day. Anyone who dared to question the president’s mental acuity was smeared, viciously attacked verbally, and accused of promoting conspiracy theories.
We cannot forget that the cabal running the White House and manipulating the president and the American people—until the very evening of the presidential debate on June 27, 2024—was committed to getting Biden elected for an additional four years. Surely, they would have known he was unlikely to be able to complete a second term.
Ultimately, Biden was forced to withdraw from the presidential race. Kamala Harris became the Democrats’ presidential nominee and went on to lose in an Electoral College landslide.
We urge Congress and the Justice Department to continue the investigation to determine who exactly was making key decisions from 2021 to 2024 that impacted our country, our economy, and our national security.
