The divine order of God's Creation ("God created them male and female and blessed them" Genesis 5:2), free speech, and religious liberty all just won an important victory.
Last summer, Matt Walsh, a courageous commentator, produced a documentary titled, "What Is A Woman." It was a direct challenge to the "transmania" attack on reality that has seduced America's governing, educational and cultural elite. This insanity threatens the moral and physical health of our children, while "erasing" the whole concept of what it means to be a man or a woman.
Walsh's film confronts these lies head-on. Not surprisingly, he and the film came under heavy attack. It was labeled "hate speech" and faced constant attempts at censorship. Nonetheless, it enjoyed reasonable success, even though it did not seem to break through to the general public.
As the one-year anniversary of the film approached, Walsh decided to relaunch it on Twitter. He reached an agreement with the platform to make it available, but the company quickly reneged on the deal. That's when Elon Musk "rode to the rescue."
Musk said the decision to block the film's availability was a mistake. The executives responsible either quit or were relieved of their duties.
But Elon Musk didn't stop there. On his own Twitter page, he opined that "every parent should watch this." (We disagree with Musk on many issues, but continue to be encouraged by his commitment to free speech.)
The results of the film's availability being restored were astonishing. In just a few days it was viewed 165 million times, and the number continues to grow.
This neo-Marxist insanity that is sweeping the country can only be defeated by truth and open debate. Christians, conservatives, pro-family and pro-life citizens must speak the truth if we are going to save our children and protect our First Amendment freedoms, including freedom of speech and freedom of religion.
The film's success comes on the heels of successful boycotts of "woke" corporations, including Target and Anheuser Busch. Is it possible a counter-revolution is taking place? JDFI prays that there is, and that the Church will lead the way by speaking the truth to a hurting nation.
