Anne Graham Lotz and Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright

Host: Dr. Tim Clinton

January 25, 2022

On today’s edition of Family Talk, Anne Graham Lotz and her daughter, Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright, underscore the influence of Christian parents and grandparents who model their love for God. Especially in a world which is so hostile to biblical truth. In the latter years of Billy and Ruth Graham’s lives, their eyesight failed them. But their love for God’s Word was so strong, they drew spiritual strength from hearing the Bible read aloud, and reading Scripture printed out in giant typeface.

The eldest daughter of the legendary Reverend Billy Graham, Anne has continued her father's work by traveling the globe sharing the gospel message. Her dad once called her "the best preacher in the family." The New York Times recognized Anne as one of the five most influential evangelists of her generation. She has appeared on many TV and radio programs, including having been profiled on CBS’s 60 Minutes, and she is a frequent commentator for The Washington Post. Anne holds six honorary doctorates, and in 2017 she served as the Honorary Chairman of the National Day of Prayer Task Force. In 2015, Anne lost her husband of nearly 50 years, Dr. Danny Lotz, to congestive heart failure, but she is loved and emotionally supported today by her three grown children and three grandchildren.

Rachel-Ruth feels called to encourage others to fall in love with Jesus through the teaching of His Word. She graduated from Baylor University in Waco, TX, and is married to Steven Wright.
