Written by Dr. James Dobson | Jan 8, 2014 8:29:00 PM
Dr. Dobson interviews the late Dr. Ken "Hutch" Hutcherson about his cancer, how he's dealt with his life-long fear of the illness, and his perspective on how God uses negative experiences in believers lives to make them more like Christ. They discussed Hutch's biblical stand on controversial issues of the day, and the backlash he has received for his stand, including death threats. You don't want to miss this discussion. The late Dr. Ken Hutcherson "Hutch" was the senior pastor of Antioch Bible Church near Seattle, WA. Born in Alabama in the era of segregation, he was a former middle linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys and San Diego Chargers, he spent more than two decades training adults and young people to be on the offensive for Jesus Christ. He has been featured on numerous radio and TV programs we well as in newspapers and magazines for his stand on biblical principles and standards, no matter what the cost. He sounds the clarion call to today's church in his books The Church, Before All Hell Breaks Loose and Enough Faith: You've Already Got What It Takes to Make a Difference and his autobiography, Hope is Contagious.
