Mr. Joe White

Host: Dr. James Dobson

April 22, 2011

Though we refer to it as "Good Friday," it was truly one of the blackest days in history. Tune in for this special edition of Family Talk as Dr. Dobson points out that until we fully understand the sacrifice, we miss out on the full meaning of the resurrection on Easter Sunday. It's a reminder of the price Jesus paid and how much He loves you.

Mr. Joe White

Elisabeth Elliot was the wife of missionary Jim Elliot--who was killed in Ecuador while reaching out to the Auca, a previously un-reached people group. Afterwards Elisabeth felt God calling her to minister to the very tribe who killed her husband, which she did. She is a well known speaker and the best-selling author of multiple books including Passion and Purity: Learning to Bring Your Love Life Under God's Control.
