Host:Dr. James Dobson
Because Nick Vujicic (VOO-yi-chich) was born without arms or legs, he often struggled with God about his purpose in life. On today’s edition of Family Talk, the author of Life Without Limits, echoes the Apostle Paul who wrote "I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances." The married 38-year-old evangelist with four children came to Christ at age 15, after depression and a suicide attempt. Nick proclaims, "When you don't get a miracle, you can still be a miracle for someone else."
Nick Vujicic is a Christian speaker, New York Times best-selling author, and founder of the non-profit ministry, Life without Limbs. He’s faced tremendous obstacles in life from living without limbs, to being bullied at school and fearful for his future with no purpose in sight. Without hope, his feelings of helplessness and isolation led him to attempt suicide. Nick persevered through his challenges and discovered key principles which enabled him to find his purpose and turn obstacles into opportunities. He has since been featured on several news programs and publications including BBC, 60 Minutes Australia, CBS Sunday Morning, USA Today, ABC News and The Glenn Beck Program. Nick and his wife, Kanae, have four children and reside in Southern California.
