If you are the parent of a teenager, you know that sometimes they can be downright mean and hard to get along with! Dr. James Dobson is joined by author and mom, Sharon Hersh, who provides you with valuable tools to help you navigate through those tough turbulent years. Sharon Hersh is the author of several books. Her most recent is Begin Again, Believe Again: Embracing the Courage to Love With Abandon. It picks ups where her most popular book, Bravehearts, left off — discussing the pain and privilege of relationships. She is working on an exciting, cutting-edge work that will include print and technology that allows information to be as available as your telephone — The First Three Things! What you can do when you absolutely don’t know what to do! Sharon is available to speak to women about our True Sisterhood and creating a community of women as well as other relationship issues with others, self, and God. She is also the author of The Last Addiction – a book Beth Moore has called the best she has read on addiction. Sharon hosts Beyond Addiction conferences with singer/songerwriter Andy Gullahorn to help those who struggle with all kinds of addictions — substance abuse, people pleasing, sexual addictions, perfections, workaholism, eating disorders – and to minister to those who love and care for addicts. Sharon has also written five parenting books including those in the Hand-in-Hand Parenting series like Mom, I Feel Fat! and Mom, I Hate my Life! She is available for parenting conferences to provide parents with encouragement and support. She is a frequent speaker at universities, seminaries, conferences, and retreats. She loves to speak anywhere in the world — to a group of 2 or 2,000. Sharon is also the Director of Women’s Recovery & Renewal, a retreat ministry to struggling women and their caregivers and would be happy to structure a retreat for a group of friends, a ministry team, or a group of colleagues to help you grow to know one another and understand ways that you can better support one another and contribute to your world. She lives in Lone Tree, Colorado and is finding freedom and adventure in the empty-nest years. She loves to travel, real, listen to music, and spend time with her friends.
