Dalton Risner
When Kansas State All-American offensive lineman Dalton Risner was asked by a prospective NFL team what his priorities would be as a professional football player, he responded, "Jesus Christ, family, and football," in that order. On today’s edition of Family Talk, the star athlete, who has found a home with the Denver Broncos, says that he puts his faith over fear. He even has some of his favorite Bible verses tattooed on his arms, including Psalm 37:5, which says, "Commit your way to the Lord." Risner’s desire is to use the NFL platform to spread God’s Word through love and kindness.

Dalton Risner

Dalton Risner is an American professional football player in his third year as an offensive lineman for the NFL’s Denver Broncos. Raised in Wiggins, Colorado, Dalton grew up on a family farm with his four brothers and his mom and dad. His involvement at an early age in the lives of friends and neighbors in the community helped shape him into a service-oriented Christian and leader. He received a football scholarship from Kansas State University where he played from 2014-2018. While there, he was named a 2018 First Team All-American, Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year and a Lombardi Award Finalist. Dalton was drafted by the Broncos in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, and was one of only 10 rookies to start all 16 games during his first season. He is active through the Special Olympics, the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program, and his own foundation, RisnerUp. Dalton is engaged to be married to Whitney Clampitt. They both reside in Parker, Colorado.
