Sex On Birth Certificates Is Up For Grabs

Last week we told you that the American Medical Association has passed a resolution to lobby for the removal of “sex designation” from birth certificates.

In the midst of a society that is denying the most basic facts about biological reality, it is almost surprising that some are pushing back.

Physicians with the American College of Pediatricians (ACPeds) have released a response blasting the resolution, and stating that “Identifying sex in the public portion of the birth certificate affirms the scientific fact that sex is an innate and immutable binary trait of public significance; a trait determined by genetics at fertilization.”

The ACPeds is right. God created us in His image, male and female (Genesis 1:27). Denying reality doesn’t erase reality, it only exposes the depths of our depravity.

The battle is just beginning. There is no room to sit on the sidelines, so take the initiative to start teaching your children about God’s design for human sexuality. You can begin by downloading our free e-book, “Are Boys and Girls Really That Different?”

The biblical truth will win out, but we need to be courageous enough to speak it.
