Dr. William Lile with JDFI staff

Dr. William Lile, D.O., FACOG is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and practiced in Pensacola, Florida, for 30 years, delivering more than 5,000 babies. In 1999, he took over the largest abortion practice on the Florida Panhandle—ending all abortions and abortion referrals on his first day. To this day, there is not a single abortion clinic along 225 miles of the Florida Panhandle.

At the urging of Dr. James Dobson, Dr. Lile founded ProLifeDoc.org, a ministry dedicated to educating and equipping others to defend the value of every human life using Scripture, science, and medicine. In July 2025, he was called into full-time ministry with ProLifeDoc, Inc. The ministry recently released The ProLifeDoc Curriculum—a series of ten video lessons with accompanying workbooks designed to teach robust, evidence-based apologetics on the topic of LIFE.

Dr. Lile earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed his OB/GYN residency training at the University of Florida College of Medicine.

He has been married to his wife, Lesley, for 32 years. They have two daughters and one grandson.

I had the honor of knowing Dr. James Dobson. He was a dear friend, and I had the privilege of speaking on his broadcast several times and at his annual Gathering conferences. The time I spent with him has had a tremendous impact on my life. At his urging, I founded ProLifeDoc.org, and during one of our interviews, we coined the motto for my ministry: “A Patient Is a Person, No Matter How Small." He poured into me and forever changed my life!
