The Blind

AEvery believer has their own testimony of how Jesus Christ came into their lives and saved them. For Phil Robertson, salvation came in his mid-twenties, and it changed the trajectory of not only his life, but it also transformed his wife, Kay, and their family. On today's edition of Family Talk, Gary Bauer interviews Phil and Kay Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame, about their real life story of faith, hope and restoration, depicted in the soon to be released movie, The Blind. Ephesians 4:32 says, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

The Attack On Our Constitution

Sunday, September 17th, was Constitution Day, which celebrates the signing of America's Constitution on that date in 1787. Sadly, CNN decided, on September 11th, to dishonor the document by providing a platform to a couple of Harvard University professors of government who attacked the Constitution.

Pro-Life Persecution

The Biden administration is continuing its aggressive campaign to jail pro-life "rescuers." On Friday, three more pro-life activists, Joan Andrews Bell, 74; Jonathan Darnel, 40; and Jean Marshall, 72, were found guilty in federal court of blocking access to an abortion center in October of 2020. Five other pro-life activists involved in the same demonstration were also found guilty in August.

Remembering the 22nd Anniversary of 9-11: Reflections and Lessons for Today

In this week's episode, Gary Bauer reflects on his experience near the Pentagon on the morning of 9-11. Bauer was in his car stuck in one of Washington, D.C.'s legendary traffic jams, when his assistant called him. Something terrible was happening in New York City. Moments later, he heard the unmistakable whooshing sound of a low-flying jet plane, followed shortly by an explosion that rocked his vehicle. Bauer says there are important lessons to be learned by reflecting on the events of that terrible day. He believes America faces equally devastating circumstances now. But this time it is not from outside Islamist terrorists, but rather from forces within our own country that want to rip us, root and branch, from our rich Judeo-Christian heritage. Don't miss the message in this fascinating new podcast.

Marxism Versus The Family

Karl Marx and Frederick Engels wrote those words in 1848. But the same Marxist philosophy infects America's powerful teacher unions and leftist officials at all levels of government. Communism was devoted to building a "New Man," and Marx and Engels saw the nuclear family as an obstacle. Today's Marxists still believe the same thing.

Show Me State Shows The Way

Pro-family advocates scored a significant victory in Missouri recently. Here’s why it matters. The state passed a ban on so-called “gender affirm care” for children in June. These radical medical procedures are neither “affirming” nor are they health care. They involve powerful sterilizing drugs and extreme surgical procedures in vain attempts to deny biological reality.

Coach Joe Kennedy’s SCOTUS Victory a Religious Liberty Win for All

In this week's episode, Gary Bauer reflects on the story of former Bremerton High School assistant coach Joe Kennedy whose name made national news in 2015 when he was fired for praying on the field after football games. Kennedy stood tall, fighting his way all the way to the Supreme Court. The court ruled that his religious freedoms had indeed been violated. The school district was forced to pay fines and backpay, and was required to rehire him for his former role. The big takeaway, says Bauer, is that one brave individual hero won back religious liberty for us all. For this, there is reason for every Christian in America to celebrate and understand that you have more power than you know.
