Library Follies

What happened to America's public libraries? They universally used to be safe, non-ideological places where we could do research and find a good book. Librarians were helpful, cheerful and kept their politics to themselves. Some libraries and librarians are still like that today. But an increasing number of them have, like so much in America, been "weaponized" in the Left's war on faith, family and freedom.

The Left’s War on Our Military

What do abortion, transgender ideology and critical race theory/anti-American history have in common? All of these disturbing, deeply divisive, harmful issues are being imposed on the Pentagon and the U.S. military by the Biden administration.

JDFI Highly Recommends “The Sound of Freedom” Movie

In this week's episode, Gary Bauer believes that every adult American Christian should see "Sound of Freedom." The film is a disturbing and riveting true story about Tim Ballard's remarkable journey to save children from sex traffickers in Columbia. Backstory: Ballard quit his job as a special operative at Homeland Security to found Operation Underground Railroad (OUR). In the movie, Ballard, played by Jim Caviezel, applies his unique skills, honed over ten years working in Homeland Security's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, to successfully liberate 50 kidnapped children. "God's children are not for sale," says Ballard. We at JDFI passionately agree! To search for show times in your area and to buy tickets, visit Angel Studios. We invite you to listen to this special, eye-opening podcast today.

Sound of Freedom

The compelling drama, Sound of Freedom, is rocking at the movie box office. It opened on July 4th, and in its opening week has brought in $40 million dollars. More importantly, it is raising awareness among the general public of the horrific sex-trafficking of children around the world, including here in the United States.

Christianity and America

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) loves Jesus Christ and loves America. So, of course, powerful leftists want to marginalize him and destroy his influence. In recent days, they unleashed a vicious attack labeling him a "dangerous" Christian nationalist.

CDC Insanity – “Chest Feeding” Babies

The Center for Disease Control's (CDC) credibility is eroding quickly as left-wing LGBTQ ideology replaces science and medicine. The CDC now claims that "transgender" or "non-binary" people can safely "chest feed" their babies.

Faith Without Works

A recent article about faith in America grabbed my attention. According to Gallup, church attendance in America is still below pre-pandemic levels, and down significantly from the historical norm.

Victory for Religious Liberty

Our religious liberty and our freedom of speech both won a big victory at the Supreme Court in one decision announced on June 30. The court, in the case 303 Creative LLC. v. Elenis, ruled 6 to 3 that Colorado cannot force a Christian website designer to create websites celebrating same-sex marriage.

Is America Over?

A new Fox News poll has produced some stunning and disturbing results. For the first time in the history of the survey, fewer than half of the American people (43%) believe our country's best days are still ahead of us. Forty-eight percent believe our best days are in the past. The decline in optimism about the future has been dramatic. The percentage of Americans believing the best is yet to come was 63% in 2012, 62% in 2017, and 52% in 2021 before declining to 43% today.

Rejoice, ‘Pride Month’ is Over—Finally!

In this week's episode of Defending Faith, Family, and Freedom, Gary Bauer walks listeners through a PG-rated recap of "Pride Month" that featured R and X-rated parades, where entirely nude men and women danced around, some simulating sex acts from floats, under the innocent gaze of young children. If this weren't hideous enough, President Biden held a pride event at the White House where a transgender activist guest (a man who has transitioned to a woman) repeatedly exposed his new breasts to young people and the press. Following public outrage, the White House eventually expressed regret for the incident and banned this individual from future government-sponsored events. All this debauchery is against the law, but for "Pride Month," law enforcement looks the other way. Lastly, there are adult educators in schools that are preying on youngsters who are confused about their sexuality by coaching them that they can change their sex. All this without parental consent! Moms, dads, and grandparents, we especially invite you to listen to this critically important podcast today.
