In this week's episode of Defending Faith, Family, and Freedom with Gary Bauer, senior vice president of public policy at the James Dobson Family Institute, Bauer reflects on his experience near the Pentagon on the morning of 9-11. Bauer was in his car stuck in one of Washington, D.C.'s legendary traffic jams, when his assistant called him. Something terrible was happening in New York City. Moments later, he heard the unmistakable whooshing sound of a low-flying jet plane, followed shortly by an explosion that rocked his vehicle. Bauer says there are important lessons to be learned by reflecting on the events of that terrible day. He believes America faces equally devastating circumstances now. But this time it is not from outside Islamist terrorists, but rather from forces within our own country that want to rip us, root and branch, from our rich Judeo-Christian heritage. Don't miss the message in this fascinating new podcast.
