Randy Shepherd and Jamie Johnson, the co-founders of Crossfire Ministries, have used basketball to reach people for Christ in 68 countries and 47 states. Randy explained that they’ve discipled 25,000 kids through 33 years of hosting basketball summer camps. “We teach them the fundamentals of the game, and also the fundamentals of life.” Jamie added, “You’re talking about discipline in sports when you’re trying to play ball. You have to put in the hours. It relates back to our faith. As Christians, you have to be disciplined as well to grow in your faith.”

In Matthew 28, Jesus says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. Tim Clinton continues his conversation with Randy Shepherd and Jamie Johnson, the co-founders of Crossfire Ministries.
