In End Run Around U.S. Senate, Biden Administration Planning to Provide Unprecedented Power to World Health Organization
In this week’s episode of Defending Faith, Family, and Freedom, Gary Bauer interviews special guest Frank Gaffney, Founder, and Executive Chairman of the Center for Security Policy in Washington, D. C. The two discuss the Biden administration’s plan to sidestep the U.S. Senate’s authority to approve binding international treaties. According to Gaffney, the Biden administration and WHO plan to bypass this clear constitutional requirement by calling it an ‘agreement.’ This agreement, however, would provide unprecedented power to the World Health Organization (WHO) to dictate how the U.S. can respond to a global pandemic or virtually any healthcare concern the WHO deems is in the best interest of all nations. A vote of countries to ratify this international agreement is scheduled for late May in Geneva, Switzerland. If it were to pass, it would threaten U.S. sovereignty and America’s ability to govern its affairs as a constitutional republic.
