We can no more be perfect parents than we can be perfect human beings. The task of raising kids in a fast-paced world is infinitely complex, and life itself takes a toll on our good intentions. But kids are resilient, and they usually manage to turn out rather well. Remember that the Creator in the Garden of Eden also had “children” who were rebellious.

They discuss his book, The Perilous Fight: Overcoming Our Culture’s War on the American Family, and his great hope for America, even in the midst of these immoral and destructive times. Mark 3:24 says, “If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.” Dr. Carson challenges us to wake up and get back to God and the basic principles of the Bible! We must concentrate on faith, family, and guarding our hearts against enemy tactics that seek to divide us by race, age, income, gender, political affiliation and religion.
