Faith is often forged in the darkest of valleys. On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. James Dobson continues his impactful conversation with Holocaust survivor Diet Eman (pronounced “deet a-mon”), who risked her life in the Dutch resistance to help Jews escape the Nazis. She shares the cost of that courage, the loss of her fiancé, and the unshakable faith that carried her through.

About Our Guest(s)

Diet Eman was a Dutch nationalist and Nazi resister at the time of the German invasion of Holland during World War II. She and her fiancé, along with many other members of the resistance, worked to hide Jewish people from the Nazis. Diet recounted her experience of living under Nazi control and the Christian faith that sustained her in the book entitled, Things We Couldn’t Say. She went home to be with the Lord on September 3, 2019, at the age of 99. Diet is survived by her two adult children and one grandchild.
