God’s Spirit Within the Heart of America – Part 1

1 Corinthians 3:17 says, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” Today on Family Talk, as we prepare to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of the United States of America, we will hear from Gary Bauer and Bob McEwen, executive director of the Council for National Policy. As a parent, do you have a plan for how you’re raising your children? On today’s edition of Family Talk, Gary Bauer concludes his passionate discussion with Dr. George Barna about his book, Raising Spiritual Champions: Nurturing Your Child’s Heart, Mind and Soul. If we, as parents, do not fulfill our God-given privilege of guiding the development of our children, based on the Christian faith, we will leave them to the mercy of a fallen world. We must not continue to outsource our parental obligations to the secular culture, or else we’ll have to be prepared to suffer the consequences.
