Dr. D. James Kennedy
Dr. D. James Kennedy served for 47 years as Senior Minister of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Kennedy founded four organizations: D. James Kennedy Ministries, Evangelism Explosion International, Knox Theological Seminary, and Westminster Academy. Dr. Kennedy earned a BA from the University of Tampa, a MDiv from Columbia Theological Seminary, a ThM from Chicago Graduate School of Theology, and a PhD from New York University. He authored more than 65 books, including Evangelism Explosion, and What If Jesus Had Never Been Born?. Born in Augusta, Georgia, Dr. Kennedy passed away in 2007. He was married to his wife of 51 years, Anne Kennedy.
