Star Parker is an author, speaker, and activist. She is the founder of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE), fighting poverty and restoring dignity through faith, freedom, and personal responsibility. In 2017, Star joined the White House Opportunity Initiative advisory team, and was appointed to the U.S. Frederick Douglass Bicentennial Commission. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and international business, and has received numerous awards and commendations for her work on public policy issues.
