Dr. Ben Carson
Dr. Ben Carson currently serves as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He completed his B.A. in psychology from Yale University, an M.D. from the University of Michigan Medical School, and his residency in neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Carson became the Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1984 at the age of 33. He has written and published 9 books, 4 of which were co-authored with Candy, his wife of 44 years. Dr. Carson and his wife are co-founders of the Carson Scholars Fund, and together theyhave 3 sons and several grandchildren.
