The Hon. Jim DeMint is chairman of the Conservative Partnership Institute. He previously served in the U.S. House of Representatives for South Carolina’s Fourth Congressional District from 1999-2005, and the U.S. Senate from 2004-2013. Mr. DeMint is the founder of the Senate Conservatives Fund, and served as the president of The Heritage Foundation for four years. He is also the author of Now or Never, The Great American Awakening, and Falling in Love with America Again. Jim and his wife, Debbie, have four adult children and a growing number of grandchildren.
