Dr. Henry Blackaby and Dr. Norman Blackaby
Dr. Henry Blackaby was the founder of Blackaby Ministries International. He previously served as president of Canadian Baptist Theological College and the Canadian Southern Baptist Conference. Dr. Blackaby was the author of several books, including the best-selling Experiencing God, Hearing God’s Voice, and A God Centered Church. He received his undergraduate from University of British Columbia and earned his B.D. and Th.M. from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Blackaby went home to be with the Lord in February 2024. He and his late wife, Marilynn, have five grown children and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dr. Norman Blackaby is a professor of Christian ministry at East Texas Baptist University. He previously served as an adjunct and assistant professor at the Canadian Baptist Seminary and Dallas Baptist University. Dr. Blackaby is the co-author of many books including Experiencing Prayer with Jesus. He and his wife, Dana, have three grown children and reside in Texas.
