J.D. Greear is the president of the Southern Baptist Convention and pastor of The Summit Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. Greear has authored several books, including Gaining by Losing, Jesus, Continued, and Ready to Launch.Greear completed his Ph.D. in Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and served in Southeast Asia with the International Mission Board.Pastor J.D. and his wife Veronica live in Raleigh where they are raising four kids.
