Jim Caviezel is an American actor, best known for hisportrayal of Jesus Christ in the 2004 film The Passion of the Christ. His other notable roles include Private Witt in The Thin Red Line and Edmond Dants in The Count of Monte Cristo. He will star in the upcoming film Paul, Apostle of Christ as the apostle Luke. Jim and his wife Kerri are devout Catholics and they have adopted 3 children from China.
