General Boykin talks about his dads injury during the battle, and why we must honor the men who sacrificed their lives.

Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin (Ret.)

Lt. Gen. William G. Jerry Boykin (Ret.) serves as the Family Research Councils Executive Vice President. He was one of the original members of the U.S. Armys Delta Force. Boykin spent 36 years in the army, serving his last four years as the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence. He is an ordained minister with a passion for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and encourage Christians to become warriors in Gods Kingdom. Gen. Boykin and his wife Ashley enjoy spending time with their five children, and growing number of grandchildren.
