A preborn child’s life was terminated a few days ago by an abortionist hired by the child’s parents. Sadly, this happens in great numbers every day in America.

The Democrat Party is committed to continuing this carnage. They are in charge of at least twenty states, where they prevent any pro-life laws from passing. Virtually all of the aborted babies die—out of sight and out of mind.

But the death of this particular child has caused a stir, mainly because of who the father is.

I would like to introduce you to Jesse Ridgway. You may not have heard of him, but he is a huge star on YouTube where millions of people follow him and his wife. His YouTube “alias” is McJuggerNuggets. Mr. Ridgway receives a lot of clicks, which, on social media, becomes ad revenue and eventually money in the bank.

On April 8, 2026, Jesse Ridgway—McJuggerNuggets—posted a sonogram image of his preborn baby and proudly commented, “first look at the little nugget.”1 Very sweet.

But nearly two months later, he shared the following update with his millions of followers:

This week, my wife and I made the very difficult decision to terminate the pregnancy due to Trisomy 21. The choice was not made lightly. We really appreciate all of the personal stories that you guys shared with us, especially the unconditional support we received from fans . . .2

Trisomy 21 is a medical reference to the condition known as Down syndrome. Jesse and his wife had decided to end the life of their “little nugget.” Ridgway explained, “As for us, we made a difficult decision that we believe in the long-run will be beneficial for our family.”3

Some of Ridgway’s YouTube followers were horrified. Over 15,000 people expressed anger, sadness, and shock that the preborn child’s life was snuffed out. Incredibly, the Ridgways appeared to be shocked by this reaction. Jesse Ridgway responded as though he, rather than his baby, was being victimized.

On June 5, he shared this:

I’ve never seen such hate and vitriol for two people grieving the loss of their unborn child and making an impossible decision.

The last 24 hours have exposed a side of humanity that is deeply disturbing. Being called . . . “evil” [and] compared to Hitler.3

His attempt to make himself the victim had the opposite effect. People pointed out that the Ridgways weren’t really grieving the “loss of their unborn child.” They were grieving because they hired an abortionist to kill their unborn child.

Ridgway also defended himself by writing that they aborted the baby because he did not want to “bury his son”4 if the child later died from complications of Down syndrome. So, he “disposed of” his son in the abortionist’s garbage can now to avoid a funeral later.

By the way, Ridgway previously celebrated his dog’s survival after a complicated surgery that left it living without kidneys. Is it really too much to hope that he would treat his son in the womb as well as he treats his dog?

Ridgway claimed that he and his wife did a lot of research before they made the decision to end the life of their baby—a child made in the image of God. But did they actually talk to any families who have children with Down syndrome? We have an individual in our extended family who has Down syndrome, and she is a joy. She is now a middle-aged woman, and one of the happiest people I know.

Ridgway and others argue that these children never experience the full joy of life. They then use this as an excuse to end the child’s life. But studies have shown that children with Down syndrome report higher levels of happiness than so-called “normal” children.

As a society, we fortunately do a lot to help people with disabilities live better lives. The Americans with Disabilities Act prohibits discrimination against them. Yet the culture of death still has a grip on our society, so powerfully that many people believe it is acceptable to kill children with disabilities in the womb. This is eugenics, pure and simple.

Dr. Dobson warned about the devaluing of life in America every chance he could. It is a major cause of the crassness and depravity of our culture. Abortion always kills babies, exploits women, and hardens hearts.

I hope and pray that Jesse Ridgway and his wife find Jesus and experience His saving grace. Please join us in praying for this and for the “little nugget” who never had a chance to live.

This November, vote pro-life at every level of government.
