🎓 Who Can Enter
This contest is open to students who are U.S. citizens and enrolled in:
- Middle School (Grades 6-8)
- High School (Grades 9-12)
📄 Essay Details
- Length:
- Middle School: 500-750 words
- High School: 1,000-1,500 words
- Must be the student’s original work
- Written from a Christian worldview
- Include at least one Scripture reference
- Include a reference page
- File type PDF or Word doc
- Double-spaced
📊 Judging Criteria
- Biblical Integration – Effective use of Scripture and a clear Christian worldview
- Content & Insight – Depth of thought, understanding of the topic, and clarity of ideas
- Organization & Style – Logical structure, coherence, and overall flow
- Creativity & Voice – Original thinking and authentic personal expression
- Grammar & Mechanics – Proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation
🏆 Awards & Recognition
- The 1st place Middle School winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize, and the 1st place High School winner will be awarded a $2,500 cash prize.
- But it doesn’t stop there—both winners will be featured on a Family Talk broadcast, sharing their message with a national audience. Plus, winning essays will be showcased on the ministry’s website and across social media.
