“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
📖 Luke 2:11
Advent Series | Merry Christmas!
Jesus is the reason for this season. He is the light that breaks through darkness, the promise kept, the Savior who came to redeem us from our sins and purchase a place in heaven for us. This Christmas, let your home be centered not on presents but on His holy presence.
Read the Christmas story from Luke 2.
Below is a devotion guide for you to follow on your own or for leading your family:
Reflection:
Each week, we have reflected on one attribute that Jesus has given to us: Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. But it is impossible to fully experience these attributes apart from Jesus, because He is the fulfillment of each. This Christmas, why not slow down and remember, it’s not about presents under the tree but His presence in your heart and home.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for sending Jesus, Who is Your greatest gift to us. Help us keep our focus on His coming. Fill our home with gratitude, love, and awe for who He is. As we celebrate, remind us that the Messiah is with us: Emmanuel … yesterday, today, and forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
