“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
📖 John 14:27
Advent Series | Week 2: PEACE
The second candle of Advent reminds us that peace isn’t just the absence of conflict; it’s the presence of Jesus.
During this week of Advent, teach your family that peace comes from trusting God in the middle of life’s storms. The greatest gift you can give your home is a heart that’s committed to Christ.
Below is a devotion guide for following on your own or for leading your family:
Reflection:
True peace doesn’t come from circumstances; it comes from a relationship with Christ. When His presence fills our homes, fear loses its power.
Parents: Model how to experience peace by trusting God even when life feels out of control.
Prayer:
Jesus, You are our Prince of Peace. Calm the storms in our hearts and homes. Teach us to rest in You when life feels overwhelming. Let Your peace guard our minds and hearts as we trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
