Gil Stricklin was the founder of Marketplace Chaplains, a non-profit organization that provides chaplains for corporate America. The ministry has grown nationally and internationally, now serving more than 1,000 companies with the care of more than 2,200 chaplains. Gil held degrees from Baylor University, Texas Christian University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and served in the military for 37 years. He went home to be with the Lord on September 10, 2023. Gil is survived by his wife, Ann, two adult sons, and several grandchildren.
