NRB And Trump

The National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) 2024 convention in Nashville, Tennessee, was a great event. The JDFI team was there to tell over 1,500 attendees about the many new initiatives Dr. Dobson is launching in 2024. The enthusiasm level was gratifying as God continues to bless the ministry of Jim and Shirley Dobson.

Our Rights: From God or Government?

"… but the thing that unites them as Christian nationalists—not Christians by the way, because Christian nationalist is very different—is that they believe that our rights as Americans, as all human beings, don't come from any earthly authority, they don't come from Congress, they don't come from the Supreme Court; they come from God," Heidi Przybyla, MSNBC investigative reporter.

Reflections From the 2024 National Religious Broadcasters Convention

In this week's episode, Gary Bauer shares highlights from the 2024 National Religious Broadcasters convention in Nashville. He speaks specifically about former President Donald Trump’s keynote speech, where he called out the Left’s war on Christians, through their attempts to rebrand Jesus-serving, America-loving Christians as “Christian Nationalists.” The term is intended to scare the general electorate into believing that all conservative voters are Nazis. It is also meant to intimidate believers from speaking out on issues such as abortion, gender ideology, and open borders. Those who heard Trump’s speech, which received virtually no coverage in the mainstream press, have called it the singularly most pro-Christian speech they had ever heard from a past or current President of the United States, or from anyone running for office. You will want to listen to this special podcast to hear the details. And when you do, share this podcast with your family and friends.

What Would the Presidents Say?

February is the month when two of our greatest presidents, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, were born. Both of these great men loved America and loved God. I suppose they would be called "Christian Nationalists" today—and it would not be meant as a compliment. Here are just two quotes of what they thought about God and America.

The War on Truth, Reality, and Common Sense

In this week's episode of Defending Faith, Family, and Freedom, Gary Bauer touches on the most egregious moral outrages from the past week. Leading the week in repugnancy is credited to Planned Parenthood with its release of a new “educational video” targeting children entitled “What is Virginity?” Right at the top, a teacher is seen telling her class that the word virginity “is a completely made-up concept,” intended to control and shame people for losing it. And the primary target is…You guessed it: Women! Bauer says the nausea-inducing muck gets worse from there, and sums up the film’s message to kids: Sex isn’t dangerous or shameful. Rather, it feels good, and it’s fun. Just do it! Next up is President Joe Biden’s wars and rumors thereof. With the globe at the tipping point of worldwide conflict, Biden’s Secretary of State, Antony Blinken found time to release a memo instructing the state department’s 77,000 employees on the proper use of pronouns. Bauer closes with a story from Massachusetts where three high school girl basketball players were so brutalized by a transgender player on the opposing team that they could not go on, forcing their coach to inform the referees that they ...

Who’s Killing Nigerian Christians?

The European Parliament has passed a resolution condemning the mass killing of Christians and the burning of churches in Nigeria. Better late than never. Much of Europe has said virtually nothing about the growing persecution of Christians in Nigeria, just as the Biden administration can't find its voice either.
