Gary currently serves as senior vice president of Public Policy and Culture at JDFI, president of American Values, and chairman of Campaign for Working Families PAC. In this week's episode, Gary Bauer shares his deep concern over results from recent polls that show a majority of Christian Americans are ambivalent on the issue of abortion. These same Christians come to this conclusion because they believe the Bible is silent on abortion. Bauer says that these individuals are woefully mistaken.
Do you think it was a surprise to God that you were born in America, or have had the good fortune of legally immigrating to America? Of course, He wasn't surprised. In fact, the Lord chose to give you the greatest blessing anybody can possibly have by beginning your life here in a nation built on the truth that your liberty comes from the God who created you.
On today’s edition of Family Talk, Gary Bauer concludes his compelling discussion with Terry Schilling, president of American Principles Project. Terry shares what they are doing to defend the American family, and urges us to wake up and heed the warnings foretold in the Bible. If we take God out of the equation, chaos ensues. Romans 1:28-29 says, “Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice.”
Our friend, Eric Metaxas, is quickly becoming a modern Paul Revere for the American Church. On the heels of his 2022 book, Letter to the American Church, which described the disturbing similarities between the sleep-walking church today and the German church of the 1930s, Metaxas is sounding the alarm again. In Religionless Christianity: God's Answer to Evil, Eric warns that the hour is extremely late for God's people to confront the tidal wave of evil engulfing America.
When we take a good look at how our society is changing for the worse, it’s easy to see the institutions of marriage and the family crumbling before our eyes. But what can be done about it? On today’s edition of Family Talk, Gary Bauer talks with Terry Schilling, president of American Principles Project, about his organization, and their passionate commitment to defend and advocate for the American family. We must wake up and fight to keep the principles that were established and set forth in the Bible!
Every day's screaming headlines of crime, corruption and hatred remind us of the desperate need for America to turn back to God and pray for His mercy and protection. But according to the Washington Post, which is the most influential and powerful media outlet in our nation's capital, prayer is the problem.
In this week's episode, Gary Bauer discusses the Washington Post's recent hit job on the National Day of Prayer. The author of the anti-faith diatribe audaciously stated that America was founded by people "fleeing religion" when, in fact, these individuals were seeking to practice their religion freely. If you're not stunned by this, Bauer points out that this false narrative—that America's founders wanted to establish a nation free from religion—is being taught as historical fact in our public schools.
George Washington University, just blocks from the White House, has been the scene of some of the most hateful anti-Semitism sweeping America's campuses. Over a recent weekend, the iconic statue of our nation's first president was draped in a Palestinian flag. If Washington were here with us today, I have no doubt he would throw off that foreign flag and stand with the embattled Jewish students on the campus.
The Biden administration's new Title IX regulations were applauded by the LGBTQ movement, but opposition to them is growing across the country.
In the United States, the public's belief in the fairness and security of our elections has been rapidly declining. Nothing will undermine a constitutional Republic such as the United States more quickly than a conviction that our elections are "rigged."
