Gary currently serves as senior vice president of Public Policy and Culture at JDFI, president of American Values, and chairman of Campaign for Working Families PAC. As we have repeatedly warned, there is a deliberate effort to intimidate, shame, smear, and even threaten conservative Christians out of the political and public policy arena. It is understandable that the radical, secular Left would want to do that. But it is outrageous that some so-called "progressive Christians" are lending their support to this effort.
We thank God that the April 13th missile and drone attack on Israel, by the Islamic Republic of Iran, failed. Many of the 300 missiles and drones were destroyed by Israel's Iron Dome defense system or by U.S. and Israeli jets. But the failure of the attack does not erase its significance. For the first time, Iran has launched an attack directly from its own territory on Israel, instead of using its proxies, including Hamas and Hezbollah.
In this week's episode, Gary Bauer discusses Iran's recent drone and missile attacks on Israel and the Biden administration's alarming response. Rather than supporting Israel in what should be a strategic military strike in retaliation for this unprecedented Iranian act of war, President Biden and his Department of State warned Israel that the U.S. would not support any Israeli military action against Iran.
Kudos to a bipartisan group of U.S. senators who have introduced Senate Resolution 569 to reiterate that religious freedom is a core human right and should be a top priority of U.S. foreign policy.
On today’s edition of Family Talk, Gary Bauer concludes his critical discussion with Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council about our responsibilities as Christian citizens. Tony passionately shares that even though we are seeing evil becoming more prevalent, we are also experiencing God’s light becoming brighter. “People are hungry for the truth!” Perkins challenges us by stating, “It is never too late to invest in that which will live on beyond you!” Are you doing your part? Matthew 16:26 says, “What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?”
Every generation seems to bring with it greater change and more division within our society. On today’s edition of Family Talk, Gary Bauer interviews Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council. Tony shares that now is the time for Christians to stand firm in our faith as the enemy seeks to separate us from our source of strength, the Word of God. Ephesians 6:12 says, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
Everything about the transgender ideology is anti-science as well as being anti-God. The Lord created mankind to be men and women. Science confirms that genetically there are two genders—male and female. A man cannot "become" a woman, nor can a woman "become" a man by radical, deforming surgery or administering powerful, dangerous drugs.
A new Rasmussen poll on how Americans think about religious liberty has some disturbing results. The poll conducted in late March found that 56% of likely voters in the U.S. believe that our own federal government is a major threat to our religious liberty. Only 26% say the feds are a "protector" of religious rights, and 17% aren't sure.
In this week's episode of Defending Faith, Family, and Freedom, Gary Bauer parses former President Donald Trump's recent video position statement on abortion, Roe v. Wade and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).
Sadly, this will be an Easter forever burned into the heart of Stephanie Diller. She buried her police officer husband, Jonathan Diller, who was shot by a repeat criminal who should not have been on the streets.
