Kim Meeder, author and co-founder of Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch. Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch rescues abused and neglected horses and nurtures them back to health. These same horses are then used in the ranch's riding program for children, most of whom are disadvantaged in some way. She and her husband Tony run the ranch in Bend, Oregon.
