Dr. James Dobson Appoints Joe Waresak to Serve as President of the James Dobson Family Institute

November 3, 2022 — Dr. James Dobson has announced the promotion of Joe Waresak to the position of president of the Dr. James Dobson Family Institute (JDFI).

Since first joining JDFI in 2013, Waresak has served in several roles throughout the organization. For the past five years, he was the chief operating officer for the ministry and worked closely with Dr. Dobson to execute the day-to-day operations. Prior to working for JDFI, Waresak served for two decades in both business and ministry leadership roles.

According to Dr. James Dobson, founder chairman of JDFI, “I am very pleased to have appointed Joe Waresak to this key leadership position. The JDFI board of directors and I have witnessed firsthand his ability to lead, his love for the Lord, and his commitment to our mission. He will continue to work with the board and me as we carry out the vital ministry work of JDFI. This move also allows me to focus my full attention on addressing the urgent ministry matters that are impacting our faith, families and our nation.”

As founder chairman, Dr. James Dobson will remain actively involved in the ministry efforts of JDFI, and will continue to oversee and host the Family Talk broadcast alongside his co-host, Dr. Tim Clinton.

JDFI, founded by Dr. James Dobson, is a non-profit ministry devoted to preserving and promoting the institution of the family and the biblical principles on which it is based. The ministry seeks to introduce as many people as possible to the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to promote the sanctity of human life, God-honoring sexuality, religious freedom, respect for the founding of America, and righteousness in the culture.
