Men in Women’s Sports: Democrats Want It…Americans Don’t

Congressional Democrats have made no secret of their desire to allow biological men to compete in women’s sports. Look no further than the so-called “Equality Act.”

Once again, these “progressive” Democrats are pushing for something that Americans don’t want. In fact, only 34% of U.S. citizens believe individuals should be able to play on sports teams that correspond to their subjective “gender identity,” according to a recent Gallup poll. A full 62% of Americans believe individuals should play on teams that match their biological sex. This number includes 86% of Republicans and 72% of males.

So what is it that conservatives and males intuitively understand about athletics?

Simply put, when it comes to athletic endeavors, they realize that the inherent physiological differences in men and women (muscle complexion, bone thickness, muscle mass, etc.) give males an “intolerable” advantage over females.

They understand what Tamikka Brents discovered through personal experience. Tamikka is a female MMA fighter who was forced to compete against a biological male, Fallon Fox. Brents suffered a concussion and 7 broken orbital bones as a result of such “inclusion.” Brents, who wasn’t informed before the fight that Fox was a biological male, later said she had “never felt so overpowered ever in my life,” and concluded “when it comes to a combat sport I think [men competing in women’s sports] just isn’t fair.”

Allowing men to compete in women’s sports hurts women. Literally. It also deprives female athletes of the chance to compete for championships and potential scholarships.

Here’s what you can do. Reach out to your state and federal representatives and demand that they have the courage to protect women’s sports. “We the people” are in charge, and they better not forget it.
