“I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.”
📖 Luke 2:10
Advent Series | Week 3: JOY
The third week of Advent reminds us of JOY.
When the shepherds heard the good news that the Savior had come, it was news that brought great joy. You can experience this same exultation today—not because of your circumstances, but through Christ living within you.
Choose joy this week: sing and laugh together with your family members and friends, and thank God for His goodness and mercy.
Below is a devotion guide for following on your own or for leading your family:
Reflection:
Joy isn’t based on your circumstances; it’s rooted in who Jesus is and what He is doing within you. It grows when gratitude fills your heart. Even in difficulty, you can rejoice because your Savior has come.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the joy that comes from knowing You. Help me and my family to experience it, not as a result of accumulating things, but in Your holy presence. May our home be filled with laughter, gratitude, and offering praise to You this week. Amen.
