The U.S. military has a proud history of protecting the United States from our foreign enemies. Our brave men and women in uniform have courageously sacrificed "life and limb" for the cause of freedom. Over many decades, the U.S. military has been an institution the American people trusted and admired, even when our faith in other institutions was declining. In the 20th century, we led the free world in defeating Nazism and Soviet Communism.
But now America's armed forces, under "woke" leadership and pressure from radical-left cultural barbarians, are being forced to "kneel." As a result, our all-volunteer armed forces can't meet their recruiting goals. One study even found that active-duty personnel are unlikely to recommend joining the military to their own sons and daughters.
The latest example of the leftist insanity that is spreading through the Army is a set of instructions to officers on how to handle transgender soldiers in the ranks. The Daily Caller News Foundation has reported that the comprehensive transgender guidance gives instructions on group showers and how to respond to pregnant "men." How's that again? The instructions helpfully explain, "Understand that soldiers who have transitioned gender may remain susceptible to medical conditions (pregnancy) associated with their birth gender." So, a biological woman who now claims to be a "trans" man and gets pregnant must be treated as if she is actually a pregnant man. That this is insane and a threat to morale and unit cohesion should be obvious to any sane person.
During the Trump administration, transgenders in the military were banned. Upon taking office in 2021, President Biden overturned the ban. This surrender to left-wing social engineering will not help the U.S. win a war.
