In 1993, missionaries Dave and Barb Anderson were flying to Alaska after evangelizing in a remote region in the Russian far east, when their small aircraft suddenly lost power and crashed into the Bering Sea. Despite hitting the water at 90 miles per hour, the plane remained intact, allowing everyone on board to escape.
