Nearly 500 Christian leaders from all walks of life will read the entire Bible out loud for twelve hours a day over the course of seven days. This event, America Reads the Bible, is appropriately taking place at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. The very existence of the museum in the nation’s capital, a city built on a quest for temporal power, is in itself a miracle. It is evidence of God’s continued hand on America.
